Sample Activities:

 

·       An individual wants to select a career pathway….in an area of interest for future employment and postsecondary and lifelong learning.

 

·       Workplace Tour

 

·       Use the career planning process model to write a diary entry to describe how the student believe a famous historical figure came to choose their career.

 

·       Invite a community member who works as a career planner to speak to the class. This could be a job counselor from an employment or temp. agency, a mentor, or a job coach. The presenter should be asked how they personalize the career planning model to assist their clients. They might use a student as a sample client.
